With over 1750 founders, investors, policy makers, and corporates coming together, Tectonic has become Belgium’s leading startup event. It has become a meeting point for people who believe technology and entrepreneurship can truly move society forward.
For the 2026 edition, we’ve put together a team of 19 dedicated volunteers and are now looking for 10 Support Leads to take Tectonic even further than ever before.
We work with little hierarchy, with two people at the helm of the organisation. Each “role” or “domain” has their own team of 1-4 people, depending on its needs. These domains are everything that is needed to bring an event to life, from Marketing, Production to Finance & Legal.
From September onwards, our Support Leads join one of these domain teams as full members of the core team, strengthening the organisation during the final and most intensive phase leading up to the event.
The application window opens on July 1 and closes on August 5.
Selected candidates will be informed on August 9 and invited to join our Support Lead onboarding weekend, taking place from August 28 to 30. During this weekend, you’ll meet the team, learn how Tectonic works and receive the knowledge and tools needed to start your role confidently.
Support Leads officially join their domain team on September 1 and become full members of the core team during the final and most intensive phase leading up to the event.
The main Tectonic event takes place on October 21. Your engagement concludes after our closing celebration on October 24, where we bring the full team together one last time to celebrate the edition.
