Ghent, Belgium (28 Oct, 2025) - Europe's technology landscape will experience a transformative moment as Tectonic, a bold new tech conference, will take place on November 5-6, 2025, at Ghent's historic Wintercircus. The two-day event will gather more than 1,500 European tech leaders to address critical challenges in artificial intelligence, digital sovereignty, and cross-border collaboration.
Organised through the joint efforts of Flanders Technology & Innovation, In The Pocket, and NextGen Belgium, Tectonic arrives at a crucial moment when artificial intelligence is transforming business operations and digital autonomy demands immediate action.

The conference will feature an exceptional lineup of European leaders including Saskia Steinacker (Chief Digital Officer, Springer Nature), Quinten Selhorst (partner at EWOR, EU’s own Y Combinator), Maya Noël (Chief Executive Officer, France Digitale), Enrico Melis (partner at Lakestar), András Inotai (European Commission), and Pieterjan Bouten (founder & ex-CEO at Showpad, partner at Entourage). Two Days of Comprehensive Program
The conference focuses on four strategic themes: building winning companies, crafting excellent products, leveraging the AI and data revolution, and advancing Europe's digital sovereignty.
5 November opens with an analysis of Belgium’s startup ecosystem featuring leaders from Syndicate One, Ravical, and RDY.VC, followed by concrete sessions on how to build tech and scale startups from Lakestar, Early Bird, Henchman, Collibra, Techwolf and many more. The day closes with the Tectonic Pitching Competition Finals where the winner will take home the 100k investment prize by Scalefund.
6 November focuses on enterprise transformation, starting with AI adoption sessions with executives from ING, Johnson & Johnson, and BNP Paribas. The day advances through customer experience transformation with KBC, Delhaize, and Telenet Group, and concludes with a look at European hardware leadership featuring Openchip and DataCrunch.
Tectonic will also facilitate meaningful connections through an advanced matchmaking platform, dedicated meeting spaces for investors and enterprises, and structured networking opportunities. The Innovation Challenge will showcase emerging technologies to potential corporate partners and investors.
