With over 1750 founders, investors, policy makers, and corporates coming together, Tectonic has become Belgium’s leading startup event. It has become a meeting point for people who believe technology and entrepreneurship can truly move society forward.
For the 2026 edition, we’re assembling a new team of 22 volunteers to push Tectonic further than ever before.
Our mission is clear: to unite a fragmented ecosystem and help founders build transformative companies, all the way towards creating a true European Silicon Valley.

We’re building a 20 people team with little hierarchy where we have 2 people at the helm of the organisation. Each “role” or “domain” has their own team of 1-4 people, depending on the needs. These domains are everything that is needed to bring an event to life, be it Marketing, Production to Finance & Legal.
The application window opens on January 1 and closes on February 16. The selection process consists of two interviews:
Once selected, you’re invited to join us for our annual team kick-off weekend in the Ardennes, taking place from February 27 to March 1. This is your opportunity to meet the full team and connect with our alumni network.
Your role will span nine months, concluding one week after the main event, in early November.
You can expect to join a high-energy team with a relentless focus on innovation and a culture that values kindness, creativity and empowering your personal and professional growth. Our hierarchies are flat and our culture is curvy.
